BTV Artwork Guidelines

It is not necessary to submit artwork or a logo with your BTV Page Request; however, they do enhance the announcement. Pages without artwork will be designed using stock artwork and graphic effects from the BTV Library.

If you choose to submit artwork, you should be aware of the following:

For All Submittals:

• Submit only artwork for which you hold the copyright or have permission for use from the copyright holder.You should also have the permission of anyone who is identifiable in any photographs.
• If you need to conserve space, submit in .jpg format, although .gif and .bmp will be accepted as well. Use high quality, low compression. PC (not MAC) format.
• If you design your own page, work in pixels (rather than inches) and use a resolution of 72 dots or pixels per inch (72 dpi or ppi).
• Your image should be 640 pixels wide by 260 pixels high.
• Save in RGB mode.
• You may submit an image or poster you have used to advertise on campus. We can then create a page based on your design to create consistency in your marketing efforts.
• If you are in doubt, leave the sizing and composition to us.

You may submit up to 3 images (jpg, bmp, or gif format).
One image cannot exceed 600 KB.
