MIKE GAZDZIAK
- operations manager - BIG HOUSE SOUND

I graduated from Purdue in 2007 with a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. I took my degree and my Hall of Music experience and moved to Austin, Texas (Live Music Capital of the World). I began working for Big House Sound. We provide audio production for shows around Austin, across Texas, and beyond. I was promoted to Operations Manager for Big House at the beginning of 2008. I am responsible for coordinating the equipment for all the shows we send out.

GLENN GRIGER - assistant head of audio - CIRQUE DU SOLEIL "O" AT THE BELLAGIO

After graduation from Purdue University, my professional career started when I accepted an audio position with the Cirque Du Soleil “O” show at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada.  In September of this year I will be celebrating my 6th year working for Cirque and I am currently the Assistant Head of the Audio department for the show I started working for 6 years ago. Working at the Hall of Music gave me the opportunity to learn new skills plus work with many professionals in the theater business. Working as part of the local crews for traveling shows as well as on campus events gave me the chance to experience how different shows are put together. This experience played an active role for me while at Purdue since it exposed me to various venues and it gave me the "hands-on" experience that has proven to be beneficial in my career today. The Hall of Music helped prepare me for the future by giving me some diversity from the academic part of my time at Purdue. This experience gave me the opportunity to pursue the technical theater work I enjoy while learning new skills.  From new friendships to networking opportunities, I look back on my time with the Hall of Music as a rewarding experience.

HANNAH FELDMEYER – associate producer/project manager – THE SANDERS GROUP

I started working at the Hall of Music Productions for my graduate assistantship in 2005.  My role with Hall of Music Productions was to produce and direct the student produced show, InPlay.  I graduated from Purdue University in 2007 with my master’s degree in technology and began working at The Sanders Group in Indianapolis as a producer and project manager.  My responsibilities include seeing video and multimedia projects from conception to completion, maintaining constructive client relationships, and leading internal teams to complete projects.  My experiences at the Hall of Music Productions provided a strong foundation of skills and abilities that have prepared me for my career in video, multimedia, and live events.

DANNY PURDUE - camera operator - JIMMY BUFFETT TOUR

I graduated in May 2007 with a degree in Film and Video Studies and now work on the Jimmy Buffett tour as a camera operator. In the down time I help edit and organize the various media we use in the show and film out in the parking lot. I also  freelance for several different companies doing graphics, editing, web design, and system administration. Like everyone else in the production industry, I have some side projects that I hope to expand on down the road. Until then, my clock is stuck at 5pm.
