Loeb Playhouse
Gracious and intimate

Located in at the heart of the Purdue campus in Stewart Center, Loeb Playhouse is an intimate setting for Purdue Convocations and Lectures events. Chamber orchestras, string quartets and jazz ensembles play here. Loeb is home to University Bands concerts, Black Cultural Center sponsored events and Purdue Musical Organizations performances.

Its multimedia capabilities and close proximity to conference facilities in Stewart Center make Loeb Playhouse an excellent venue for lectures, seminars and other conference activities.

History
Bert and June E. Loeb contributed more than $1 million towards the construction of Loeb Playhouse, built in 1958. At the time of construction, the theater was known as Purdue Memorial Union-Hall of Music Annex. This self-financed structure was designed by Walter Scholer.
