Increasing Energy Awareness

Carbon Neutrality at Purdue University (Carbon Neutrality has merged with the Boiler Green Initiative) is a student organization which has two main goals: to reduce energy consumption on the Purdue University campus and to raise community awareness of carbon neutrality. While focusing on their first goal, early in 2008 an idea was articulated to the university administration by members of Carbon Neutrality at Purdue. That idea was to begin tracking energy consumption within four residence halls while striving to reduce energy consumption.
