ABCD Award

The Above and Beyond the Call of Duty (ABCD) Award recognizes a student whose actions make a difference at the university and how they contribute to excellence within Student Life. It is awarded four times throughout the academic year and is a $300 award that is included in each of these student’s paychecks.

Do you know a student who deserves to be recognized?

  • Recognizes hardworking student employees
  • Customers, co-workers, supervisors or self can nominate
  • Winners selected four times per academic year
  • Winners receive $300 (taxable)

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be employed and in good standing for at least two full semesters in HFS
  • Must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • Must be a student attending Purdue

The Lanny C. Wilson Scholarship

The Lanny C. Wilson Scholarship was established to recognize the contribution of Lanny Wilson, former Director of Administration of University Residences, for his many years of service to students at Purdue University. This scholarship is awarded annually to at least one student in University Residences who has achieved distinction in leadership while employed in a student worker position in a hall.

An impartial committee administers this scholarship and awards the cash prize of $750.00 to one or more individuals on an annual basis.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a student employee in a leadership position in University Residences and must work on a regular basis
  • Be a current resident of University Residences with the intent of returning to University Residences for the 2020-2021 academic year
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 and be in good academic standing

THE LANNY C. WILSON SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM

The W. I. Bennett Courtier Achievement Scholarship

The William I. Bennett Courtier Achievement Scholarship was established to preserve the spirit of the Courtiers of Fowler Courts, and to recognize William I. Bennett for his years of service as manager of Fowler Courts. This scholarship is awarded to the individual who has not only excelled in academics but has exemplified both the hall spirit and contributed to his/her residence hall community.

An impartial committee administers this scholarship and awards the cash prize of $1,000.00 to one individual on an annual basis.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be enrolled at the West Lafayette campus of Purdue University
  • Be registered for 12 credit hours or more
  • Be an undergraduate student at the time of application
  • Be a current resident and have lived in the residence halls for at least two semesters by the end of spring semester
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0, with 3.25 or higher preferred
