Welcome to the University Residences community! As you prepare to start your journey as a Boilermaker, it’s important to know what is provided in your room and what you should bring.
Use the information below as a guideline and choose what is essential for you. If you have a roommate, we recommend that you communicate with them to find what’s best for your shared space.

Candles, incense or anything else you would burn
Electric bed warmers
Empty alcohol bottles for decoration

Toaster ovens or any cooking equipment other than a small microwave oven (for residence halls)
Third-party bed lofts as University Residences does not permit any loft product other than Bedloft
Hilltop Apartment Appliance Policy
Residents living in Hilltop Apartments housing are allowed to bring select appliances for kitchens in their units. Please see the list below to see what is and is not permitted.
