Honors College and Residences History

The construction of the Honors College and Residences began Jan. 5, 2015 and opened for occupancy in fall 2016. The Purdue Board of Trustees authorized the selection and retention of an architectural/engineering firm to provide project planning services as well as acquisition of the property for the facility. Constructed on Russell St., the Honors College and Residences is appropriately the closest of University Residences’ nine residence halls between State Street and 3rd Street to Purdue’s academic campus.
