Welcome to First Street Towers, where students will have the opportunity to learn about themselves and acquire necessary life skills through involvement in our residential community. First Street Towers residents are provided with experiences that aid in establishing connections, learning about self and surrounding communities, acting as a support and resource to others and aiding in the common goal of students' academic success. Students are encouraged to take part in the leadership opportunities provided in the hall whether it is through planning events in their community, voting during surveys or participating in community activities.

As a resident in First Street Towers, students impact their community by being involved and finding ways to engage with themselves and others. We are focused on providing our residents with a living and learning experience that will help them succeed at Purdue and beyond.

Titan Club

Titan Club is the hall club for First Street Towers residents. The club offers many opportunities for students to be involved, make connections with other residents and gain leadership and event-planning experience. Just by residing in First Street Towers, students are automatically a member and can participate in activities, events and trips. Titan Club is in the process of establishing new traditions and currently plans several annual events, including  Welcome Week, Exploration Acres Corn Maze trip, Tri-Tower Tournament, Colorpalooza, Ski Trip (weather permitting), and racing the First Street kart in the annual Purdue Grand Prix race.

The goals of Titan Club are as follows:

  • Develop residents through social activities
  • Embrace diversity, social justice and inclusion
  • Promote academic success
  • Collaborate with other residential life entities

In addition, The Titan Club leadership serves as the governing body for the residence hall. Executive Board includes the following elected positions: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and three Residence Hall Assembly Senators (one for each tower). There are also 26 Floor Representatives (two per floor) that serve Titan Club by attending General Assembly meetings, suggesting and helping plan programs and being the voice for other residents in their community. The Titan Club is a great way to learn and grow while contributing to your community at First Street Towers. Meetings are held on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. in the West Tower Conference Room.
