Residential Academic Initiatives provides academic enhancement through faculty-partnered engagement opportunities, residential learning connections, and academic support programs within our residence halls.

Who We Are

Jonathan Manz

Jonathan Manz, Ph. D.

Associate Director of Residential Academic Initiatives

Throughout his career in higher education, Jonathan has been interested in integrating academics into students’ co-curricular experiences. His goal is to connect faculty and students in out-of-the-classroom learning opportunities. Jonathan has been at Purdue since the summer of 2015. He holds degrees from Virginia Tech, Baylor University and Mercer University.

Haley Cutler

Assistant Director of Learning Communities and Faculty Liaison

Haley’s passion has always been in adding value to the Boilermaker student experience. If you have questions as it relates to learning community ideas, event ideas or possible collaborations with RAI, she can serve as a resource or consultant in helping you provide out-of-the classroom experiences. She has been at Purdue since August 2011. Haley holds two degrees from Kent State.

Program Coordinator, Residential Academic Initiatives

Blaire is driven to create and support opportunities for students to engage with their academic passion areas and grow their love for learning. She is committed to discovering what makes students successful and finding new ways for RAI to foster learning beyond the classroom. She has been at Purdue since June 2018. Blaire holds two degrees from Miami University (Ohio).
