Get Involved

One of the benefits of living in University Residences is the access to amazing opportunities. Building your professional resume starts the moment you set foot on campus! We offer hall clubs, Residence Hall Association (RHA), National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), UR Global (for first-year international students), UR Multicultural Connections (first-year domestic students from different multicultural backgrounds living in University Residences or studying remotely). Whether it's hosting a radio show, being part of a racing team in the Purdue Grand Prix or running for president of your residence hall... we've got something for everyone!

Events

When you live in UR, "you are" (see what I did there?) part of a vibrant, active community. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to come up with creative socially-distant events that students loved. We painted pumpkins and Bob Ross-style paintings, played kickball croquet and held a virtual "Res Halls Got Talent" event.

We also host events like "Rock the Quad" and the Shreve Semi-Formal, along with midnight pancakes and the West Side Block Party. Our Faculty-in-Residence members put on events, as well, and our Faculty Fellows will come invite you to a floor or building dinner in a dining court. Make friends, enjoy food and fun and connect with meaningful conversations. We can't wait to meet you!

Professional Mentorship

Consider participating in the Women's or Men's Leadership Series, where you meet other Boilermakers and Boilermaker alums who will motivate and inspire you. Or, consider getting resume and career advice from one of our Executive-in-Residence participants during Coffee and Consulting. There are so many people who want to help you on your journey!

Campus-wide Student Activities and Organizations

Still looking for that perfect fit on campus? Go beyond the residence hall community and take a look even more opportunities with the Student Activities and Organizations. There really is something for everyone at Purdue. You have your own unique talents and gifts. Connect with an activity, club, or group on campus that can help you grow.
