ART NORRINS, FOUNDER AND CEO, NOR1


BS Industrial Engineering (Purdue University)

Art is a proven entrepreneur who has successfully built multiple businesses from concept to reality. He started his own company, Sandium, selling and servicing commercial air-conditioning systems all over the world, including at U.S. embassies.

Art’s million miles of travel experience led him to the development of Nor1, a hyper-growth internet company headquartered in Silicon Valley, California. He founded Nor1 to meet the needs of travel suppliers searching for innovative ways to increase revenue while simultaneously enhancing the consumers travel experience at a phenomenal value. Additionally, Art is active in international philanthropy, including service on the board of the Indiana Institute of Global Health, which leads a consortium of universities in a health care initiative in Kenya.

Dave Bevirt

DAVE BEVIRT, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF LEASING, BROOKFIELD


BS Landscape Architecture
MS Urban Planning (Purdue University)

Dave Bevirt is a double graduate from Purdue, holding a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and a master’s degree in urban planning. He currently is the senior Vice President of leasing for Brookfield’s Washington, DC region where he is responsible for all leasing efforts of the portfolio’s 29 properties in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia totaling 6.2 million square feet.

Dave has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. In addition to his role of Senior Vice President, Dave was President of CarrAmerica, Senior Vice President of Cassidy & Pinkard, President for the Washington, D.C. Association of Realtors (WDCAR), President of The Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors (GWCAR), a life member of the Million Dollar Leasing Club, and named “Realtor of the Year” by both GWCAR and WDCAR. Dave is a product of our very own university residences, living and serving as a resident counselor (currently the resident assistant position) and as a staff resident.
